Run out of window cleaner? Put some vinegar in warm water, use it to clean windows, then dry off and buff with newspaper.. it works, i don't know how, but it does!
Use bicarbonate of soda to to freshen up carpets, sprinkle and leave a while, then vac it up. It absorbs odour.
Also works quite well with smelly trainers... put bicarb in some old tights, tie it up and put in shoes.
I have more of this random saftness stored in my brain somewhere but the copious amount of vodka i have consumed this evening is stopping it coming out, in fact you are quite lucky i am writing in sentences! It has taken me probably about 15 minutes to write this so it makes sense. ;D hic..

oh yeah, and i think white wine is supposed to get red wine out of stuff tho i have never been unfortunate enough to have this happen, this could be an old wives tale so if anyone does know for sure, please let me know just in case it ever does happen!

Blimey, i bet she wasn't! Lucky it did work or i'm sure he would have been in the doghouse for a long time! I will remember that for future reference, just in case A few more... If you get chewing gum stuck on anything, freeze it and it will be easier to pick off. If it is on carpet or a sofa, obviously you can't pop that in the freezer, so use an ice cube until it goes hard. If your kettle is full of limescale, add some vinegar ( white is best ) into some water and boil it, leave it overnight if you can, but don't forget to empty and rinse, as i did! That was the worst cup of tea i have ever had! Didnt do much for the hangover either! Also works if you have lots of limescale round taps. Soak some cotton wool in vinegar, mould it round the tap and cover with some cling film. Leave it for as long as you can and you should have lovely sparkling taps again.

very good tipsters their barbarella the funny thing is ur telling us how to get the red wine out and your drinking the vodka, very good haha this will sound odd but for certain people will know what i mean, apparently if you have ants in the house if you have no spray then at the edge of were their coming from get white chalk and draw a line going right at the edge of the wall, for some strange reason they dont cross it. weird or what but very true

hers a few,i just looked up the book candles last longer if you place them in the freezer for at least 3 hrs prior to burning,if you get a bee or wasp sting slice an onion andrub the cut sid over the sting to ease the pain. the ants thing this is what it said in the book, plagued with ants they are said to never cross a chalk line so get your chalk out and draw a line on the floor or were ever they tend to march.for some reason ants also dislike cinnamon so place it were ever you have noticed them
